Took a Sunday drive down to the Baker Lake area. There was more snow there than i had expected. We walked around a bit and there was no need for snowshoes. It was an amazingly thick crust for Jan. The plowing goes to one lane just after the big bridge. The area was pretty quiet without much traffic. We saw many small mudslides. In places the road had been cleared of mud.
