        Trina (my wife) and I tried to go up to Trout Lake on Friday, but there were big trees down in the roadway, maybe half a mile past the trailhead to Necklace Valley. I’m not sure how much further up that road the trailhead is? I haven’t been there since I was about 10 or so. We turned around, went for a hike about a mile and a half up the Necklace Valley trail, and it was in great shape.

          Thanks for the update.

          It must be about 2 or 3 miles from the Necklace Valley TH to the West Fork Foss TH.

              I drove into the Trout Lake trailhead last week and it was open. There was an amazingly huge earthslide over the road that has been repaired by building new road over the top of it. I found some small rainbows lurking near the bottom off from the inlet using a small spinning lure.
