Wanted to say thanks to everyone who has posted information here. This site was a huge help when I started fishing the alpine lakes last year even though my wife and I didn’t catch very much. This year has been much better including a 19″ rainbow in late August and this 21″ monster yesterday. Gutted and bled it was 4lbs 3oz, so maybe a few oz shy of 5lbs out of the water. Caught on a day trip off I-90 with a 1/8oz yellow rooster tail.
