        First of all, i would like to say “Hi”. I have been a “lurker” on this site for awhile and figured it was time to join. I have been Fly Fishing & Fly Tying for 28 years and really enjoy High Mountain Lake Fishing.

        My question is, is anyone familiar with Watch Lake located on Watch Mountain around the Randle, Wa. area? Some friends of mine years ago used to fish the lake and had really good success and BIG fish. Don’t know if a person can still get to the lake or not or if it still has decent fishing.

        Because of 2 back surgeries, i am somewhat limited as to where i can hike, but still interested in trying.

          Welcome to the forum.

          I’m familiar with Watch Lake, but I’ve never been there. I know you can’t drive to the lake any more, but I’m not sure how close you can get. It may depend on how much 4x4ing you want to do.
