Nine Hour Lake Trip Report

Hi Hi-Lakers,

I recently hiked up to Nine Hour Lake in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie and thought you all might enjoy reading the trip report. My understanding is that the lake was named by George Lewis (who has a nice plaque at Rainy Lake commemorating his work) after an unsuccessful 1946 attempt by Charlie Yadon to stock the lake that resulted in a nine hour long brush bash.

I live in north bend and spend a lot of time exploring the lesser-known parts of the middle fork, as well as doing trail work. If I was better at fishing I would love to help with your lake surveys!
