        Hello All,

Thanks for allowing me to attend your monthly meetings! My name is David Ratliff; Mick Scott introduced me to the club. I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy backpacking, ski mountaineering, saltwater fishing, diving and mountain biking. I am relatively new to freshwater fishing, but it seems like a great activity while out in the mountains. Trout stocking is in my blood as my grandfather owned and operated the Otto C. Brenner Trout Company off of Engebretsen Road in Granite Falls. I have attached my picture so you recognize me at the meetings.

I look forward to making some great friends in the club and would love to help you stock your lakes. I am only available on the weekend. If you would like a hand, please contact me on my cell or by email (See David’s contact info under Visitor Contact Info in Members Only).

Also, does anyone have a recommendation of a stocked lake near Chelan? I am hoping to do some fishing with my father over Father’s Day Weekend.

        Happy Trails!

          Hi David!

I put your contact info into our Visitor Contact Info page in Members Only where all members have access to it and I pulled it off of this page so it wouldn’t be publicly accessible.

Are you looking for a hike trip near Chelan? Or a drive to sort of lake? The best early season hike is to take the Lady of the Lake to Lucern and hike into Domke Lake. Fires swept through there a few years ago, but the trail is open again and the fishing is generally good.

Thank you, Brian! You guessed it correctly that a shorter hike is what we are after (dad is getting older). Convenient that we will have a boat too!

            Best,

When you get to the lake…Look for a gentleman named Sid that may have a temporary shelter setup. He is/was the caretaker for the entire area there and he may be there cleaning up. He will be obvious to recognize by his sharp wit and love of the Lake.

Tell him Johnny “The Tick” sent you.

              Welcome to the Club
